App Features & Explained
What is Intellij Mode and how does it work?
Intellij Mode is our smart memorization engine designed to mimic how a teacher helps you memorize.
Instead of playing the whole Surah, it works in 'Sets' (groups of verses).
- You define a Set size (e.g., 3 verses).
- It plays Verse 1 repeatedly (based on your settings).
- It plays Verse 2 repeatedly.
- Then, it loops Verse 1 and 2 together to cement the connection.
- It continues this 'stacking' method until the set is complete, ensuring strong retention.
How does Word-by-Word Analysis work?
Our Word-by-Word feature breaks down each verse to help you understand the Quran deeper. It includes:
- Word-by-word translation in your preferred language.
- Transliteration to help with pronunciation.
- Integrated Tajweed rules for accurate recitation.
Which Tafsirs are available?
You can access authentic Tafsir to grasp the context and meaning of verses. We currently support:
- Tafsir Ibn Kathir (English, Urdu, Indonesian, and Arabic).
- You can adjust the font size of the Tafsir text for easier reading.
How does the Revision Tracking work?
The app includes a dedicated dashboard to manage your revision tasks. A key feature is 'Continuous Playback' (Playlist style).
- Mark specific Surahs for revision.
- When playing in Revise mode, once a Surah finishes, the app automatically plays the next Surah in your list, allowing for hands-free revision while driving or commuting.
Does the app have Qibla and Prayer Times?
Yes, these are completely free features:
- Accurate Qibla finder using your device's location.
- Prayer times based on various calculation methods (Muslim World League, Hanafi, etc.). Note: Notifications are not supported.
How do I change Speed, Repeat Count, and Wait Times?
You have full control over the audio playback to suit your learning pace:
- Repeat Count: Long press the repeat button to enter a custom number (e.g., 49 times).
- Playback Speed: Long press the play button or use the settings to adjust speed from 0.5x (slow) to 2.0x (fast).
- Wait (Delay): You can add silent pauses before or after an Ayah. This is useful for reciting the verse yourself after hearing it.
Can I change the Quran Font or Script style?
Yes, you can customize the reading experience in Layout Settings:
- Madani Mushaf (Page View): The classic 15-line script.
- Tajweed (Verse View): Colored Tajweed rules to assist with pronunciation.
- Indo-Pak/Asian Script: Available in the settings for users familiar with this style.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes. You can download individual Surahs or bulk download multiple Surahs at once. Once downloaded, the recitation will play without an internet connection.
Is there a Web or Desktop version?
We do not have a website version yet. However, Mac users with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) chips can download the Mac version of our app directly from the Mac App Store.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed directly by the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), not by us.
- For iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions and cancel there.
- For Android: Open Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions and cancel there.

Subscription & Billing
How do I get the Free Subscription (Student/Teacher)?
We offer a completely free subscription for students, teachers, and those who genuinely cannot afford the fee. We do not want cost to be a barrier.
- Go to Settings > Subscription.
- Scroll down to find the 'Free Subscription' text or button.
- You will be asked to confirm your eligibility under oath.
- Once confirmed, the app will unlock all premium features immediately.
I have a Lifetime Subscription but it says 'Expired'.
This usually happens if the app doesn't recognize your user session. Please try this:
- Go to Settings and check if you are signed in.
- If you are signed in, please Sign Out and then Sign In again.
- Tap on Restore Subscription in the Subscription menu.
Troubleshooting
Error: 'Cannot find matching credentials' when signing in.
This error usually comes from the Google Sign-In service on Android devices.
- Ensure a Google Account is added to your phone's system settings (not just the app).
- Check that 'Sign in with Google' is not disabled in your device settings.
- Try restarting your device.
My audio recitation stops or loops incorrectly.
This is often due to the repetition settings:
- Check if 'Intellij Mode' is ON. This mode is designed to strictly loop sets for memorization.
- If you want continuous playback (e.g., for listening like a playlist), ensure Intellij Mode is OFF and use the 'Revise' or 'Recite' tab instead.
